What an emotional roller coaster. Patch 1.1 fixed umpteen quest bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 – actually a good thing – but it also brought the game a new problem: den Takemura-Bug. This serious mistake not only made an essential quest unplayable, it also prevented any progress in the rest of the game. The community found workarounds, but CD Projekt is now taking care of it itself.
The latest hotfix 1.11 fixes the Takemura bug, among other things, but also takes care of another problem that you might have pissed off while playing. Let’s take a look at this.

Was fixt der Hotfix in Cyberpunk 2077?
The hotfix eliminates the two biggest problems that patch 1.1 caused:
- The Takemura bug will be fixed: The phone call in the main quest “Down on the Street” should now run normally.
- The loot system is reset: The random generation of loot now works as before patch 1.1. You can reroll the properties of loot again by saving and reloading.

What was the problem anyway?
The Takemura bug caused a telephone conversation with V’s comrade Takemura to derail during the main quest “Down on the Street”. Takemura calls, but the sound does not play and the line remains open. For all time. This also makes it impossible to continue playing other quests. More on this back and forth in our original Takemura bug report:
