The legendary brotherhood is coming
Erryk and Arryk are members of the King’s Guard in George RR Martin’s master books and belong to different factions in the “Dance of the Dragons”: Erryk adheres to Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), while his brother claims the throne of Aegon II Targaryen (Matt Smith) supports. It is hard to imagine a better symbol of a civil war than the struggle of two real brothers.
The fact that the siblings will be in “House of the Dragon” was made public through a casting video shared by the acting brothers John and Michael Cooke. Although both the names of the characters and the project titles have been changed here, it is clear from the dialogue that it is about “House of the Dragon” and the aforementioned brothers from the George RR Martin-Lore.
