The Geforce RTX 3080 Ti has just appeared and, as was unfortunately to be expected, the shelves everywhere have long been bought empty. It will probably not behave much differently with the RTX 3070 Ti. If you still get one, and maybe even at the recommended retail price of 600 dollars, you can look forward to performance.

Current, leaked benchmarks for Nvidia’s most likely last high-end graphics card in the RTX 3000 series see the RTX 3070 Ti on par with the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT in terms of rasterization performance. In some cases it should even be faster than a Radeon RX 6900 XT.

Geekbench results are to be treated with caution, as they often vary greatly, but the numbers correspond by and large to the expected increase in performance compared to a normal RTX 3070 without “Ti” (between seven and 14 percent, according to Geekbench).
Results from the Ashes of the Singularity in-game benchmark see the RTX 3070 Ti even clearly ahead of the RX 6900 XT (via Videocardz).
Here, too, it is important to enjoy the results with caution. Much more decisive than the supposed distance to the RX 6900 XT is the difference to the RTX 3070. In the case of Ashes of the Singularity, the RTX 3070 Ti is around ten percent faster than the variant without “Ti”.
All in all, a clear picture of the RTX 3070 Ti’s performance emerges. Around ten percent more power than the RTX 3070 seem realistic.
