Lost Ark also started in Europe in February 2022 with enormous success: The Player numbers shot up at launch and the MMO has been almost universally praised by press and gamers alike. Of course, there was also criticism: In addition to technical problems such as the long queues, criticism of the grind-heavy gameplay was repeatedly raised:
Lost Ark:
Apologies and gifts after Pay2Win allegations
In order to reach the endgame and unlock additional content, players often have to invest hundreds of hours in the Free2Play game – or use real money.
500 hours to endgame?
Experience reports on Reddit show how much time players put into Lost Ark. With pride tells about user Zirincithat all of his six characters have finally reached Tier 3 – an item level of over 1300. Also, he made it to this point as a Free2Play player and didn’t spend any money to speed up his progress.
A screenshot provided shows that Zirinci uses its main character to item level 1386, while his five other characters are between item level 1325 and 1340 move. However, he does not want to reveal how long Zirinci played. Given its success, some commentators show their admiration – or are joking:
Under the post, some players also report on their personal experiences and exchange tips. Some users report that they played between 400 and 500 hours to get their main character and some others into Tier 3. In some cases, however, significantly higher numbers, such as about 750 hours, are given.
By the way, to play the new Abyss raid Argos, you need item level 1370. A video tells you what it looks like there:

How long have you been playing?
Of course, we are also interested in how things are going for you: have you reached the endgame and unlocked new content such as the Argos raid? Or are you still struggling to reach Tier 3? We have therefore set up a survey to hear how and for how long you play Lost Ark.
Have you already spent money?
Along with the question of how many hours of play you have already put into the Amazon MMO, it is of course also interesting to know whether you have already spent money to buy bonuses or skins in the in-game shop. We have also set up a survey for this:
Can you find the right answer for you in our survey? If not, let us know how far you’ve come and how long it took you in the comments!
