The new season of House of the Dragon is finally here. And already in the first episode, the series proves that, at least when it comes to brutality and unexpected plot twists, it is clearly on par with its big brother Game of Thrones.

What is House of the Dragon Season 2 about?
After the death of King Viserys (Paddy Considine) in season 1, the fronts have hardened. The rightful queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) rules with her black council from Dragonstone Fortress.
In the capital, King’s Landing, the green faction around King Aegon Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) and his hand Ser Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) have seized power.

After Rhaenyra’s son Lucerys (Elliot Grihault) was killed by Prince Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell) and his dragon at the end of the first season, peace between the parties is more unlikely than ever. Both sides have tasted blood – the signs point to war.
In the midst of this deadly confusion, Rhaenyra’s prince consort Daemon (Matt Smith) once again has plans of his own. The dance of the dragons begins.

The most important facts about season 2
Season 2 of House of the Dragon can be watched on Sky and Wow when the series starts. Wow currently offers the cheapest access at 6 dollars per month. However, full HD and crisp Dolby 5.1 surround sound are not included – you have to pay an additional 5 dollars for that.
The second season will consist of eight episodes, which will be released weekly. New episodes are released every Monday in the early hours of the morning. The second episode will be released on June 24, 2024, and episode three on July 1.
