As announced Patch 1.05 for Cyberpunk 2077 this week and brings massive improvements for PC and console With. The latter can already download the update, the former have to wait a little longer. Players should be particularly pleased with the numerous fixes for quest bugs. Because many missions could not be ended or only after a restart, we downgraded the role play:

We will review the changes from Update 1.05 in detail and clarify whether an upgrade is justified. Until then, you will find the on page 2 extensive patch notes. We are highlighting the highlights of the update for you here.
That’s in patch 1.05
- Many quest bugs will be fixed – So as not to spoil anything, let’s just name the examples from the prologue: For example, Jackie no longer disappears during the missions “The Handover” or The Coup and Dum Dum no longer follows V everywhere after “The Handover”.
- In addition, calls and messages characters are no longer falsely blocked at various points in the storyline, fast travel before certain quest points no longer prevents progress and some secondary characters call significantly less penetrative if you initially reject their assignments. So if you’re stuck somewhere, the chances are good that things will continue now.
- Graphics and UI improvements: Apparently, for example, the trouser rack mishap of the male V in the inventory screen has been fixed. In addition, fewer NPCs walk around in the NCPD missions in a rigid T-pose and after braindances you can no longer get stuck without your head in the third-person perspective. If you get out of a car and open the inventory menu immediately afterwards, it does not close immediately.
- Performance: The update brings various stability improvements and should also further contain crashes.
- Console improvements: On PS4 and Xbox One, among other things, the image sharpness has been optimized and restarting the game multiple times does not reset your own settings. In addition, the appearance of many vehicles has been corrected.
You can find out why quest stoppers are so fatal in Cyberpunk 2077 in the test video. Because even small jobs are full of wonderfully written dialogues and exciting stories:

- More performance for AMD: In cooperation with AMD, the use of 4- and 6-core AMD Ryzen processors has been optimized; the performance should improve here.
- Die Debug-Konsole has been removed as some options could lead to crashes and broken quests. The modding community should still be supported. We have even tested the first mods for you.
- Raytracing reflection should no longer appear too bright compared to the surroundings.
- The steam overlay no longer crashes when exiting the game.

There will probably be no new patches over Christmas. According to the roadmap from developer CD Projekt Red, there will be further major updates in January and February that will further optimize the PC and console version. Especially the socket for the standard versions of PS4 and Xbox One is in such poor condition that the colleagues from the GamePro devalued 20 points and issued a purchase warning.
It remains to be seen whether patch 1.05 will provide some relief. Sony has even taken Cyberpunk 2077 out of the store and is accepting refunds. Many refund requests are also accepted on Steam and Microsoft even after a long period of play.
