Deadpool and Wolverine is getting closer and, as the days go by, the expectation grows. See again Hugh Jackman as Logan alongside Wade Wilson is a dream for many, but for this to happen, the actor had to get away from the clutches of adamantium to return in a big way as the most beloved mutant in cinema.
In an interview with the magazine People, Jackman revealed that he got tired of playing the character, so he decided to give her a proper send-off before retiring. However, this helped him recharge his energy to return in a big way as the mythical mutant.
“I had gotten to a point, probably 10 years ago, where I thought I wasn’t enjoying it. It hurt. It was hard. But I’ve taken a break and I’ve been dancing a lot. I’ve been doing different projects of all kinds. And When I got back into the game, it was a lot of fun.”
Hugh Jackman was sure his time as Wolverine was over after filming “Logan.” However, during a car trip, he thought about the enormous number of fans who would want to see the mutant alongside Deadpool, which caused a change of direction in his career and a long-awaited return.
Initially, Jackman will return only for this third Merc with a Mouth movie, but seeing as Marvel Studios has begun to explore the multiverses even more, it would not be surprising if the company hired him for future projects. Deadpool and Wolverine
