Several months ago we woke up with the news that the manga Hunter x Hunter was back in style with new chapters. Throughout these weeks we have been able to enjoy these episodes, and although it seemed that the year was going to end on a high, it seems that it will be quite the opposite.
According to the This week's Shonen Jump leaks, Hunter x Hunter will enter a new hiatus after the publication of chapter 410 on Sunday, December 8. A return date has not been announced, so we will have to wait for future updates from the magazine.
On the one hand, it was foreseeable that this would happen, since Shonen Jump had announced months ago that the publications were going to be irregular and would depend on Togashi's health. On the other hand, it is expected that this hiatus will be brief, since the author prepared approximately 20 chapters before resuming publication.
Furthermore, Togashi has published 10 chapters this year, which represents considerable progress after two years of absence. Let's hope that in 2025 the author is in good health and can continue publishing new chapters of the manga without interruptions.
