It is known that the battery in electronic devices will decrease after a while. Especially with cell phones, I used to have the problem that things had to go to the socket much more often after a few months than at the beginning. In the meantime this is no longer the case. I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy cell phone for almost 3.5 years and the battery is as strong as on the first day.
One reason for this may be progress in battery technology, but I have also adapted my behavior and, unlike before, activated the Samsung battery protection on the device. This only loads the cell phone 80 percent and slowed down the battery cells. Because the higher the cell tension, the faster the cells age and the voltage increases with increasing load. Experts therefore only advise the devices to load up to 80 percent.
Switch 2 offers cordless protection
Of course, that means a shorter battery life, but to be honest, I don't notice that much. During the week, the 80 percent are enough, since I rarely “Daddele” at work during the day and, even on weekends, I usually only upload to bed shortly before going to bed.
The problem of the aging batteries does not only affect cell phones, but as mentioned at the beginning, all electronic devices – including the Nintendo Switch.
