In less than 4 days, Shadow of the Erdrtree, the Elden Ring DLC, will be released. The clock is ticking and this post reminds us that some players are in danger of getting a nasty surprise when it comes out!
Prepare yourself!
The arrival of Shadow of the Erdtree is imminent, the long-awaited DLC for Elden Ring will be released on PC and consoles this Friday, June 21st. And yet, some players may well experience an unpleasant surprise when they try to access the Shadow Realm (the new additional content area).
If th is news could give relief to the veterans of the game who have defeated all the bosses of the From Softw are title. Every second counts for experienced players rushing to defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood, and General Radahn, Scourge of the Stars, neither of which are easy enemies to defeat if you are not properly prepared.
Hiking air
The biggest difficulty will not be defeating them, but finding them. When Margit the Fallen (the first big boss of the game) stands at the entrance to the first Legacy Dungeon, our two guests are hiding in hard-to-reach places. To find Mohg, you must use a portal in the Sacred Snowfields, an optional area of Giants’ Peak accessible toward the end of the game, or by following Varre’s quests.
As for General Radhan, you can follow Alexander and Ranni’s quests, where you have to reunite the two pieces of the Dectus Medallion located in Fort Haight (west) and Fort Faroth. Once you are done, you will need to swing the item at the Great Dectus Elevator, then go to the impassable viaduct and go through a portal. Then talk to the NPC and claim the “The party begins!” a door opens and you just have to follow the path to teleport to the boss area. Therefore, it is no surprise that many players will not have access to the Shadow Realm when the DLC is released.
