EA has announced that it will release a game called Immortal Avim.
Published under the EA Originals brand and developed by Ascendant Studios, a new studio comprised of BAFTA and Game of the Year award-winning industry veterans, the game is set in an original fantasy universe of magic and conflict in The Abyss.
The story-driven single-player game unfolds through the perspective of Jak, who joins the elite order of battle mages. These eras mastered the three colors of magic — blue, green, and red — used to wipe out hordes of enemies with chain attacks and counterattacks.
Here’s the storyline:
“Raised in powerlessness and poverty, Jak was notoriously un foreseen – a man who unexpectedly manifested magical abilities later in life. With his newfound potential, Jak was recruited by General Kirkan into the Immortal Order, and reluctantly thrust into humanity’s endless war for control of magic. With powerful magic wielders and legions of soldiers on both sides of the Eternal War, Jak and his elite order of Immortals must uncover Unlock the secrets of Aveum’s troubled past, if there’s any hope of saving its future.
The single-player first-person magic shooter will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 20, 2023 via the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
