When Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, the volcano hurled red-hot magma through the air, burying the ancient city of Pompeii, among other things. In the construction strategy game Pompeii: The Legacy, announced for 2025, our task is to rebuild the city for a good 20 years. Not much is known about the game yet. On the homepage of developer Siscia Games, it says that the reconstruction will extend over several decades. In addition, the players apparently take control of a family that tries to gain influence and prestige in the Roman Empire over the years. Pompeii: The Legacy is due to be released in 2025. There is no specific release date yet.
