Apple TV + is extending its “Infiltration” series – even before the end of the 1st edition. You can find out everything about the extension at Netzwelt.
- “Infiltration” is getting a 2nd season from Apple TV +.
- The season 1 finale will not appear on the streaming service until Friday.
- The early extension shows the great confidence that Apple TV + has in its Sci-Fi series.
“Infiltration” continues! The (still relatively young) streaming service Apple TV + today announced the extension of its science fiction series about an alien invasion, including the industry paper Deadline reported. And that even before the upcoming finale of season 1, which will only appear on Friday of this week.
With today’s renewal message, “Infiltration” is in good company. The lavish sci-fi series “Foundation” based on the novels by Isaac Asimov received a second edition just a few months ago.
That’s “infiltration” on Apple TV +
In “Infiltration”, aliens start an invasion of the earth. This is told in the show from different perspectives. The protagonists experience the invasion of the aliens all over the world. For example, Sheriff John Bell Tyson (Sam Neill) is in the US state of Oklahoma, the soldier Trevante Ward (Shamier Anderson) is in Afghanistan and the intelligent Mitsuki (Shioli Kutsuna) is in Japan.
It is now quite conceivable that the second season of “Infiltration”, which has been confirmed today, will deal with a whole new group of characters – or that the previous storylines will be continued.
