The Stardew Valley farm simulator has been available for over four years. The game that exclusively from a single developer was still extremely successful and sold over 10 million copies by January 2020!
This is not least due to the constant support and the always new updates for Stardew Valley. A gigantic patch was only released in November 2019 with Update 1.4. However, developer Eric Barone has now confirmed via Twitter that he is already working on one another update work for the game:
Thanks everyone for the Stardew Valley 4-year anniversary wishes. It's been a pleasure, and I look forward to another great year! Now that 1.4 is out on all intended platforms, I'd like to announce that there will be another free content update (1.5) .. it's currently in the works!

There are no further details about Update 1.5, so we do not yet know w hether it will bring as many fundamental innovations as 1.4. But at least this is one clear signal for free content and against paid DLCs
Because when asked by a Twitter user whether he would have considered paid extensions or cosmetic items, Barone replied:
No plans for paid DLC or anything, but I do plan on creating & releasing more games in the future!

A few weeks ago, Barone confirmed that he was working on more games. However, since these are still in a rather vague condition, an early release seems unlikely.
What is Stardew Valley anyway?
In the game released in 2016, we create a main character, inherit our late grandfather's farm and then have to rebuild the farm. We can do farming and even start a family, and some mystery elements have made it into the game. The Simulator-RPG mix is strongly based on Harvest Moon and provides the players with a cozy pacing and charming pixel look.
Recently, developer Eric Barone released the new update 1.4 with a team that was founded especially for it, which was so extensive that they simply dubbed it the "everything update". We have recently been able to use it to breed fish and that Play game with our friends,
