New top smartphones to launch in May
Oppo has launched its latest top smartphone, Oppo Find X2 (Pro). It provides many features not found in the Galaxy S20. Oppo phones are superior to Samsung smartphones in terms of display, charging speed and processing.

Chinese manufacturer Oppo is only occasionally active in Europe. This situation will change in 2020. From May, the new top model Oppo Find X2 (Pro) will also be available in Germany. Oppo announced this at a large launch event in Barcelona.

It starts from the screen. It measures 6.7 inches, is similar to Samsung phones, and has QHD + resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Difference: Find X2 Pro supports them even at full resolution, and the Galaxy S20 reduces it to Full HD at 120 Hz. The display should also have a higher sample rate for faster and more accurate input recognition.

In terms of charging speed, Oppo phones also stand out from the Samsung S20. Thanks to the new technology, it should be possible to charge up to 65 watts in the socket. Therefore, the 4,260 mAh battery will be fully charged in 38 minutes. impressive! In comparison: The Huawei P30 Pro takes about 60 minutes to fully charge with a similar-sized battery, while the smaller Samsung Galaxy S10 takes about 90 minutes. The Galaxy S20 Ultra can charge up to 45 watts, so it will never approach the value of Oppo.
Last but not least, Oppo offers the Find X2 (Pro) with a ceramic back cover. Samsung did this for the Galaxy S10, but avoided it for the S20. The material makes the phone much stronger. Oppo also offers vegan leather as a variant of the cover.
Price and availability
Oppo Find X2 will be available in May with 12 GB of RAM (RAM) and 256 GB of device memory (ROM) for a price of 999 Euros. Find X2 Pro will also be released in early May and will provide 512 GB of more memory. The price is 1,199 euros.
