Let’s talk about the elephant in the room! The new camera button, sorry… the camera controls. In fact, the button has more to offer than it seems, as you can see in the video. I’m currently putting both the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Pro Max through their paces. You can find a detailed spec comparison of both models here: iPhone 16 vs. iPhone 16 Pro: Even for the biggest differences between the two phones, you have to look closely. Although I really like the controls with the new button and it feels intuitive, operating the touchscreen seems faster to me (at least for now). But that may also be a question of getting used to it. All further photos will be taken exclusively with this one button in the next few days in order to be able to draw a final conclusion for our test report! By the way: In addition to the pure controls, you can also set another app as the default in the settings, for example Halide, Blackmagic Camera or even Instagram. Apple has disclosed the API so that every manufacturer can integrate the controls into their app. What do you think of the new camera controls? Write it in the comments below!
