Digimon Con is an annual fan festival where new card games, anime, toys, comics, etc. are shown to Digimon Lovers around the world. Card games are obviously the focus here and have been around for some time! The cards were first released in Japan in April 2020 and then landed overseas the following year. As for Digimon card game video games, there are already some!
There are some PS1 games that fans really like, and then there are fan games like Project Drasil, but it's not formal but stands out in the video game form. So basically, there is now an empty stage suit for Digimon card game.
As far as competitors are concerned, this game will surely be face-to-face with some big hitters. We're not sure how pure the copy of the Digimon card game is, but if it does follow the standard TCG rules, it'll be hitting against someone like Yu-Gi-Gi-Oh Master Duel. If a more casual approach is taken, then obviously, it will be enjoyed in a large number of food Pokemon TCG pockets.
