Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is close to its premiere and little by little curiosities continue to emerge about the filming of the film starring Paul Rudd as the Ant Man. Although it has received several criticisms for its dubious special effects scenes, overall it seems that the film looks very good.
However, the filming was not something that the actors and actresses of the film could fully enjoy, since Marvel mistakenly added manure
“Although there is a lot of CGI within the film, there are things that are practical. We try to do as much of that as possible, and we created a complete set in a studio where we have, you know, crazy giant buildings. It’s a really weird plant, almost like a planet and it was full of dirt so we really felt like we were in the Quantum Realm for real as they got a really good deal on dirt.
But that was because they didn’t realize that the dirt was actually manure. The recording of the scene was so horrible that we reached a point where we realized: ‘Oh, oh, we have to do something about it, because it smells so bad we can’t record here
‘”.
It is true that this type of error remains an anecdote, but we cannot imagine how the unpleasant reaction of the film’s actors when they discovered that they were walking on the remains of hundreds of animals’ feces.
We remind you that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will hit theaters around the world on February 17, 2023 and will begin the highly anticipated Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Kang the Conqueror as Thanos’s spiritual successor in the Infinity Saga.
