There have been many actors and actresses who have appeared in front of Marvel Studios cameras for their roles in Deadpool and Wolverine. Some have had a leading role, while others have made a small but intense appearance, leaving many fans speechless at their unexpected landing in the film.
One of the most talked about cameos was that of Henry Cavill
“This idea was hatched by Ryan, named by Ryan at that very instance, and it wasn’t long after the Superman-DC shuffle, and it was just in our minds and then it was the idea, the name, a text and a response, all within 15 minutes.”
As Levy recounts, it took just a quarter of an hour from the idea of bringing Cavill in until the actor’s “yes.” It seems that the former Justice League member was eager to make this cameo after leaving DC Studios just a few months before the scene was filmed.
Definitely, Deadpool and Wolverine has become one of Marvel Studios’ most successful films thanks to the enormous care put into each scene, with spectacular action sequences and some very funny and expected cameos, but with meaning within the story. Let’s hope that this is not the last time we see the Merc with a Mouth handing out beatings throughout the MCU and that we can enjoy him in other blockbusters from the studio.
