Star Wars Jedi Survivor is THE big game of the hour that has been awaited for years by a large community of seasoned fans. The title is excellent except that it suffers from major optimization issues on PC and consoles. Rest assured, the developers want to rectify the situation.

It’s safe to say that Star Wars Jedi Survivor has been one of the most requested games of this Spring 2023: the title finally launched a few days ago and yes, the adventure is worth it. Still, gamers face many problems right and left, regardless of the platform.
The PC version in particular suffers from many performance problems, enough to be labeled “broken” by many people pointing fingers at the developers. For this reason, rather heavy review bombing is to be declared on the Steam side.

PS5 and Xbox series are also affected
If the game runs better on the PS5 and Xbox series, these versions are still imperfect: A plethora of bugs have been reported by playersfrom crashes to collision issues to freezes and other really annoying bugs.
The studio is also on site and will deliver an update to the PS5 and Xbox Series tomorrow, Tuesday, May 2, to address a first set of gotchas. Here are all the issues fixed by the update:
- The many crashes (the game suddenly exits) when exploring planets or teleporting via meditation points,
- Crashes when you want to pass the cutscenes
- Improved performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
- The clothing texture bug on the Mantis,
- some rendering issues,
- The bug that does not save new colors of Nekko (mount)
- The beetle that makes his nekko disappear from the stable,
- The bug of the dialogues not running at the same time as the cutscenes
- some collision bugs,
- AI when using photo mode,
- The total freeze of the game when you want to talk to Doma,
- A texture error in one of the adjustments of BD-1
- The bug where you had to restart the game from the beginning when you were in La Salle de la Dualité (!)
