The shooter sequel Killing Floor 3, which was announced a long time ago, now has a rough release date and has also been given some initial gameplay.
Killing Floor 3 returned to the stage at the PC Gaming Show as part of the Summer Game Fest and Tripwire Interactive has now given it its first gameplay. You can watch the new trailer below; it gives you a first impression of the gruesome action in the game, which, according to the makers, promises more blood and more monstrous Zeds compared to previous installments.
It also features the first of the three playable Nightfall specialists, and Mr. Foster, a commando popular among fans of the series, returns. Each specialist in the new shooter receives a unique set of skills and thus their own style of play. There is also a large arsenal of customizable weapons and gadgets.
Set in the year 2091, the shooter takes place 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. The megacorp Horzine has built the ultimate army of monstrosities called Zeds and only the group called Nightfall can save humanity from the Zeds. You play one of these Nightfall specialists and, together with five team members, fight against waves of Zeds in the dystopian future, unlock new skills and expand your arsenal of weapons.
The title is in the works for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and now has a rough release date: Killing Floor 3 is scheduled to be released in early 2025.
