La Quimera: Release date of the shooter has burst

burst, date, Quimera, release, Shooter

La Quimera, the shooter of the former Metro makers near Reburn, was supposed to be released on April 25th. However, the appointment has burst soundingly.

It was only in March that La Quimera was announced, a dystopian sci-fi shooter from Reburn, a Ukrainian studio, consisting of the former metro developers 4a Games Ukraine. The appointment was bravely laid on April 25, but that didn't work at all.

The release was put on ice at short notice due to “unforeseen circumstances”. As far as is known, there are some technical problems, but also the currently massive attacks by Russia on the Kyiv headquarters could play a role. “We do our best to solve the problems as soon as possible and at the same time get along with the situation here in Ukraine,” said the developer.

Reburn CEO Lymar added: “We thank you for your patience, your continuing support and your understanding. We look forward to bringing La Quimera into the hands of the players as soon as possible.” A new release date should be named “soon”.

However, it cannot be ruled out that Reburn pulled the ripcord due to the first reviews because they look very positive. Among other things, the large number of bugs are criticized, but also story and gameplay should not really convince. In view of the strong release last week with the Oblivion Remaster and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, La Quimera would have had a difficult stand anyway.

La Quimera plays in a Latin American metropolis in 2064 after most states were destroyed by catastrophes caused by naturally and humans. The world now consists of microst countries that continue to fight, but now with mercenaries and military service providers instead of solid armies. You take on the role of such a mercenary and strike with modern technology through the metropolis and the jungle in the surrounding area.
