looks like the next Forza may come Xbox One This comes after leaked images of the game’s version surfaced online.
Announced back in 2020, the next Forza game was revealed, thought to be a reboot of the Motorsport series. Few of the games have been shown so far, but a leak on the r/gamingleaksandrumours subreddit shows some leaked screenshots, which the team of moderators are calling real.
“Tired of people saying it’s just next-gen, here are some pics of the Xbox One built around July last year,” wrote a user who shared a screenshot to the subreddit. The screenshots themselves don’t reveal anything too fancy or surprising. One was just showing a few cars in a big garage, the other was just three people standing on the track.
developer turn 10 A playtest was held last year to get direct feedback from players on the next Forza Motorsport. So the user who shared the leaked image may have done so in this particular playtest.
Described at the time of announcement as a “reimagining” of the series, the next Motorsport game will run natively at 4K and 60fps and use ray tracing. All of this adds up to a game that’s tough to run, especially on previous-gen consoles.
It may be that the Xbox One version of the game doesn’t quite meet these specs to help run better on the console. If an Xbox One version does exist, it could also be because of supply chain issues that often make it difficult to get a new generation of consoles.
We still don’t know when we can expect the next Motorsport game to come out, which is especially odd considering the previous entry in the series is no longer available for digital purchase.
