Lidl offers in September: The best bargains from the store and online shop

For some time now, Lidl has not limited itself to the offers in its stores, especially in the non-food sector. The discounter has its own online shop with a huge catalogue for all kinds of products. Whether tools, technology products, kitchen appliances or fashion – there is almost nothing that Lidl does not offer in its own shop.

Many of the bargains are not available in stores or are only available for a short time; the selection online is much larger. You will also find a separate “Sale” section here, where many products have additional discounts. A second way to save money is the daily offers, which change daily and offer a handful of selected products at a reduced price for a short time.

However, the range in the online shop is much larger. The discounter offers its own travel section for booking holidays, a photo printing service for posters and the like, a large collection of recipes for cooking and baking, and a large wine shop with wine and spirits. The Telefunken e-bike has a recommended retail price of 1,770 dollars, and you can get it much cheaper at Lidl as part of the daily offer. At other retailers, prices start at 999 dollars, but are usually significantly higher.

Shipping costs

At Lidl, an additional shipping fee of 5.95 dollars is charged for an order in the online shop. This is a flat rate that is charged regardless of the order value. If you sign up for the discounter’s newsletter, you will receive a voucher that will waive the shipping costs once for an order with a goods value of at least 79 dollars.

You can also get a shipping voucher from your Lidl store, which can even be used without a minimum order value. However, this offer only applies to promotional items that are sold out in the store but are still available online.

Right of return

There is a 90-day right of return for goods purchased in the Lidl online shop. Returns are also completely free of charge. Please note, however, that items purchased in the online shop cannot be returned to the store. This is also not possible the other way around.

Payment methods

You can pay the cost of your purchase in the Lidl online shop in many ways. The following are available:

However, Lidl points out that it is possible that in individual cases certain payment methods cannot be offered for certain items and orders.

In Lidl stores you can expect weekly changing special offers, but in the online shop you can expect an even larger selection of special offers from the following areas:

• Household and kitchen
• Furniture and home accessories
• Home textiles
• Mode

There is also a new daily deal to discover every 24 hours. A visit to the Lidl online shop can also be worthwhile if a promotional product is already sold out in the store. There may still be stocks available online.

Become a Lidl insider

You can become a Lidl insider by simply subscribing to the retailer’s email newsletter. As already mentioned, you will receive a shipping voucher as a thank you. You will also regularly receive the current brochure as a digital edition and also benefit from special offers and promotions.

The discounter has recently started getting involved in the moving business. The supermarket is working with the moving service Movinga.
