Like a Dragon: Ishin Battle Trailer Is Full of Swordplay, Pistols, and Lots of Kicks

Announced during Sony’s State of Play presentation back in September, Like a Dragon: Ishin is a remake of the Yakuza spin-off game that wasn’t previously available in Western markets.

It takes place in the last years of the Edo period when the Tokugawa shogunate ended. As far as the story goes, it takes place in the 1860s and finds Kyo plagued by widespread inequality. But one samurai will change the course of history in his quest for justice.

As Ryoma Sakamoto, it’s up to you to avenge your father’s death, clear you of murder, and restore your honor. In doing so, you will end the age of the samurai and change the future of Japan forever.

It’s coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and will only be dubbed in Japanese with English subtitles.
