Like a Dragon: Ishin, the remake of the Edo offshoot of the 2014 Yakuza series, will be released in a few days. If you’re not sure about your purchase, then Sega has good news for you: a free demo is now available for download ready for all systems.
Like a Dragon: Ishin is not that old yet, but the game from 2014 has only been released exclusively in Japan so far. Now a remake of the trip to the Edo era is in the starting blocks. From February 21, 2023, western players can slip into the skin of Sakamoto Ryōma and prove yourself in the complex combat system.

To attract potential buyers, Sega has now released a free demo. It is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam). In this case, last-gen players are left out in the cold. The trial version focuses on two battles in which you can tickle your inner samurai. On the one hand, opponents await you in the Kiyomizudera (Buddhist temple). On the other hand, you have to defend yourself against three warriors in armor.
If you have already made up your mind to fight, Sega and the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio still have goodies up their sleeve if you subscribe to the newsletter by March 20, 2023. Two exclusive in-game weapons will be rewarded: the Bone Chewer Katana and the Waterdrop Katana.
