An enigmatic tweet has surfaced on the Tweeter account of the studio behind Little Nightmare that seems to smell good to horror fans. That’s what we can say about it.
Notice to fans of horror, horror and well-crafted stories, an enigmatic tweet has just appeared on the official Twitter account of Tarsier Studios, responsible for Little Nightmares in 2017 and Little Nightmares 2 in 2021, respectively.
A tweet as a teaser for the makers of Little Nightmares?
we were busy
While some might want to see a Little Nightmare 3 gameland, we’ll remember that Embracer Group bought Tarsier Studios in 2019 and it’s still Bandai who owns the rights. It therefore seems unlikely that the studio is working on this license.
An illegitimate child
On the other hand, thanks to the two Little Nightmare games, the Swedes Tarsier have gained some experience in the field of horror, so we can imagine a brand new game that is in the same spirit, or why not a spiritual sequel. Nothing shocking knowing, for example, that Valve owns the rights to Left 4 Dead and that hasn’t stopped the Turtle Rock studio from producing Back 4 Blood, a spiritual sequel without being in Valve’s bosom.
Of course, given the mood and music of the tiny video teaser, we can bet there will be horror in this new project at some point. No Little Nightmare, but ultimately it can be a lot better.
