Skins of the West: Which characters are affected?
It’s a tradition at Riot Games that when a patch for League of Legends is deployed, the studio immediately reveals the skins that will be coming for the next patch. Last night the 12.8 update was deployed. And if we don’t go into the details of the patch (except that champion Swain’s abilities have been revamped)draws our attenti on to the test server page.
Because as soon as the 12.8 is in use, the Riot Games teams are already on point for the 12.9. On Twitter, the French side of League of Legends communicated about the next topic of character appearances: the western skins

Aphelios, Graves… The skins of the 2021 world champions
When will they be made available on public servers? Well, we can hope to see them from patch 12.9, which is expected in the coming weeks. The next May 10th takes place Midsummer Invitation, a major tournament that brings together the best teams in Europe’s regional leagues. Patch 12.9 should therefore appear after this event.
And next to that skins Western themed champion skins created by the 2021 world champions should also appear. They were recently made official by Riot and affect the following champions: Graves, Viego, Zoe, Aphelios and Yuumi. It was Meiko who decided to create a special skin for Yuumi, directly inspired by her pet.
