Outriders appears later: Developer People Can Fly is postponing the release from February 2, 2021 to 1. April 2021. In order to be taken seriously, the team also made it clear on Twitter that it was not an early April Fool’s joke.
The developers want to use the extra time to finish the Outriders properly. You need a little more time to ensure a “fantastic release game experience”.

Demo as compensation
The bad news comes packed in a candy: In order to be able to get a picture for yourself, People Can Fly publishes a playable demo of Outriders on February 25, 2021. This allows anyone interested to play “the first few hours” of the game with all four classes for free.
You do not need to pre-order to play the demo. Also, no time-limited playing time is meant, instead “the first few hours” relate to the content offered. The developers make it clear that you should be able to spend as much time in the demo environment as you are funny.
How you play is also up to you: the free demo includes both single player and co-op with friends. You can also keep your progress for the full version when you buy Outriders.
Outriders is one of the big problem children for us – even though we actually had a lot of fun with the loot shooter from the Polish studio People Can Fly. You can find out in the video why it took a while to get warm with the game:

Outriders – Preview: Love at the SECOND glance
There is no shooter nobody behind Outriders: The Warsaw studio People Can Fly is responsible for the Bulletstorm, which is celebrated by players and the press, as well as the classic Painkiller. They were also involved in the development of Fortnite when the developer was part of Epic Games between 2007 and 2015. People Can Fly is now independent again.
