PlayStation Figurines
The first figure in the collection is Aloy, the heroine of Horizon Forbidden West. She stands 15 cm tall and has 42 points of articulation and 12 different accessories. Pre-orders are available via PlayStation Gear. Shipping is scheduled for early August.
Other notable characters such as Kratos and Atreus from God of War Ragnarök, Varl from Horizon Forbidden West, and Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima will also be available. These figures vary between 24 and 34 points of articulation and include 2 to 4 accessories depending on the character. Pre-orders for these figures will begin on July 15, with shipping in September.
The developers at PlayStation Studios worked closely with Spin Master to ensure that each figure faithfully reflects the details and essence of the original characters. Arno Schmitz, lead character artist at Guerrilla, for example, was enthusiastic. Particularly with regard to the similarity of the figures to the digital sculptures used in the game, Jason Connell, creative director at Sucker Punch, emphasized the importance of the intricate details of Jin Sakai’s armor and his fighting tools.
This new line of figures allows PlayStation fans to expand their video game experience by incorporating highly detailed collectibles into their daily lives. Featuring iconic characters and interchangeable accessories, the Shapes Collection promises to be a valuable addition for collectors and enthusiasts of the PlayStation universe. The figures are available for pre-order, with deliveries scheduled for August and September, depending on the model.
