Take-Two's two studios have been developing unreleased games, and publishers will discuss more this year.
Take two Overnight earnings for the third quarter of fiscal 2020 were announced. After the report was released, the publisher made some updates on the progress of the studios during a conference call with investors.
Hangar 13 of the team behind Mafia 3 has been quietly working on a new project. As for what to say, Take-Two president Karl Slatoff would not say, but he did confirm that we will hear more about the matter "in the coming months."
Another project that we will learn more in the coming months is everything 2K Silicon Valley is brewing. The studio has no name yet (Take-Two even acknowledges it) and is led by Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey.
It was founded a year ago, so it's great to hear that the team is showing something this year.
In the same conference call, Take-Two reiterated that the recently opened Cloud Chamber studio is still in the early stages of developing a new Bioshock game, and said it still has a long way to go.
Elsewhere in the conference call, CEO Strauss Zelnick said that after Dan Houser, he did not expect Rockstar to have any more senior departures, adding that the studio culture was not affected.
