With Health tv, MagentaTV has included a hybrid of theme and shopping channels in its program. The program can be found on channel 87 in the future. The 24-hour channel will be broadcast in HD. Sometimes more, sometimes less subtle products are advertised there. However, it is not pure teleshopping. The station also offers information formats.
Health tv describes itself as Europe’s only health channel
The obesity format “Bully living with weight” or medical explanatory contributions to cancer and cardiovascular diseases (“Oncology compact” and “Cardio compact”) are, according to the company, special focal points of the health tv program. In the mornings there are also daily exerc ise sessions in the areas of fitness and yoga. Another key issue is nutrition.

Even the greats who are usually on the road for mainstream broadcasters take part in Health tv. For example, TV chef Christian Rach moderates the “5-Euro-Kitchen” on the health channel – a format in which he presents inexpensive but healthy ways of cooking. Ex-ZDF news presenter Nina Ruge is also present on Health tv with over 20 episodes of a mindfulness coaching format called “Everything will be fine”.
