Video material from a Harry Potter role-playing game was leaked back in 2018. Now the RPG should be revealed soon. This is indicated at least by a job advertisement and statements by the well-known industry expert Jason Schreier (Kotaku) and the lead designer of Avalanche Software.
Four clues point to the unveiling
- Job for an AAA title: The Warner Media Group lists on their careers page a job offer for a Lightning Technical Artist who is supposed to be working on an AAA game that "will be announced soon".
- Well-known Leaker suggests: A user on the Resetera forum doubted that Warner Bros. would announce two games at the same time. The usually well-informed industry insider Shinboi602 replied, "Are you sure?"
- Note from Jason Schreier: The well-known disclosure journalist Jason Schreier also gave an answer. He says "If there was only one event at which you can announce two games at the same time!" Schreier himself also confirmed by a direct message on Twitter that the game is still under development.
- Comment from Avalanche: Lead designer Troy Leavitt confirmed on Twitter that the announcement will come "soon".
From the official side nothing confirmed yet, but notes like that of the lead designer can almost be understood as teasers. After the announcement, however, it should take a while until the game really appears.

The game will therefore take place in the 19th century at the time of Grindelwald's ascent. It should also be about an open world game act by not only attending classes but also fighting monsters.
