Manor Lords is a medieval dream that isn’t over yet – with stone walls
One of the big fans of Manor Lords is plus user Diabetus_Maximus, who particularly enjoys the historically correct attention to detail:
An absolute eye opener. And as a history fan, I am overjoyed that the topic is being addressed in such detail and with such respect. I’m already looking forward to seeing how this gem develops and wish the developer every possible success.
Plus user HahTse, who expressed himself as follows, is also positively impressed, but a little more critical of the content of the early access version:
It has some bugs and still lacks a lot of content. But I’ve seen full-price releases that were less smooth and the gameplay is definitely already captivating.

Manor Lords – Test video for the early access version of the medieval hit
On the other hand, the user SiehstMichnicht speaks from the hearts of many other commenters when he is bothered by the gameplay. It simply doesn’t offer enough new stuff to really inspire:
[…] In terms of pure gameplay, it has a few good approaches, but (so far) not enough to make it stand out from the mass of building games for me. I find the games that are also in Early Access like Fabledom, Foundation or Workers and Resources more exciting so far.
Last but not least, Plus user Love4Games has identified a specific area where he thinks a lot of work still needs to go:
I’m still missing the economic part. It could be a really good game or remain at the status of a graphics blender. I’m curious to see how it will develop.
The economy – there was something there? That’s right, because this aspect of Manor Lords has been in the spotlight a bit since the start of Early Access. Solo developer Slavic Magic has adjusted the trading policy system several times. The first major patch will soon bring further changes.
Whether you’re excited or disappointed by Manor Lords, one thing can’t be denied: the building game is off to a sensationally successful start and now everything will depend on how Slavic Magic develops its vision further. Thanks to our survey, we now know that many of you will accompany him on this journey.
