Since its start in the summer of last year, the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen has caused a sensation throughout the world. The arc of Gojo’s past and the Shibuya incident left everyone speechless, and if we were already surprised by the confrontations seen in the series, MAPPA has just announced a small surprise.
Through its official website, Jujutsu Kaisen has announced a special release in Japanese theaters of chapters 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the second season of the series. In addition, it has been confirmed that there will be new scenes and sequences in episode 17, that is, the confrontation between Sukuna and Mahoraga.
These new sequences will be available on the Blu-Ray of the second season, so we will have to wait for them to arrive in Europe from a distributor or, directly, wait for them to be launched on an on-demand streaming service. In addition, we will also be able to see the fights without censorship, although it is not about greater or lesser violence.
The censorship we are referring to is related to the flashes: since the incident that occurred with Pokémon and Porygonthere is an unwritten law in Japan in which studios reduce the brightness of the most intense scenes to avoid problems related to epilepsy or dizziness.
