Revealed through today’s Nintendo Direct mini, Mario + Rabbids Fire of Hope There is a release date.Tactics title will be released on Nintendo Switch October 20, 2022.

This special Mario + Rabbids game will serve as a sequel to the 2017 title Mario + Rabbids Kingdom of Hope. The previous game follows Mario and friends, along with some friendly bunnies, as they try to save the Mushroom Kingdom from a group of belligerent bunnies who have fallen victim to a powerful mind-controlling device they stumbled across.

On the other hand, the spark of hope becomes incredibly interstellar. The universe fell into disrepair when a dark and mysterious entity named Cursa attempted to harvest the energy of the titular Sparks, the fusion of Lumas and Rabbids. As usual, Mario and his friends can travel around the world to save the galaxy from Kusa.

Check out the Nintendo Direct mini and everything it has to offer!

The trailer for the Nintendo Direct mini shows exactly how battles work in Spark of Hope, showing off some unique abilities and character combos, namely Mario and Luigi the Rabbit. We also know about the latest Rabbid addition, Rabbid Rosalina!

It is also now known that Bowser will also appear in Sparks of Hope as a playable character. Bowser didn’t give up much and eventually found himself in need of Mario’s help. If they want to get back to Mario’s shenanigans against Bowser, they seem to have to team up against Cusa first.

Ubisoft will reveal more about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope tomorrow, June 29 at 9AM PST / 12PM ET / 5PM BST via their own YouTube and Twitch channels. This livestream will no doubt give us a longer look at the gameplay and which characters we’ll be lucky enough to meet along the way.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop. Are you looking forward to Mario + Rabbit Fire of Hope and all the chaos it brings? Let us know what you think!
