In the final trailer for Thunderbolts, Marvel presses powerfully on the tear gland
Not just an assistant?
Bob's secret is revealed very quickly in Thunderbolts: he is not just bob. He has powerful skills and in him his two super personalities fight Sentry and Void like a raging storm.
But Bob could not be the only character with a twist. The executive producer Brian Chapek opposes on the red carpet IMDb Price that there may still be in Thunderbolts Another hidden superhero gives.
When asked what he would state in the film database as a interesting detail, Chapek has a cryptic answer:
There is a figure in which fans try to find out if they [die Superheldin Songbird] Is or not – I would say that the symbol it carries could or could not indicate the further identity of this figure. Possibly. That is what I would say.
Which symbol? Anyone who has carefully careful in Thunderbolts will have seen that the right hand of Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has a necklace in the form of a songbird. Fans therefore currently speculate that Mel (Geraldine Viswanathan) is in truth.
A Further hint Would be her name, because Mel could be an abbreviation for Melissa Joan Gold. This is the name of the superhero in the Marvel Comics with a bourgeois name.
Who is Songbird in the comics?
This is what Songbird looks like in the comics. Image source: Marvel Comics
Songbird was originally Screaming Mimi
Known and celebrated her comic debut in the 54th edition of the Marvel Two-in-one series in May 1979.
Later, Songbird is an original member of the first Thunderbolts. She shines above all through her pronounced combat skills And theirs improved vocal cordsthat enable her to generate high frequencies that create mental confusion. Depending on which tone she screams, she can also control and manipulate your opponent emotionally or physiologically.
In Thunderbolts, there are often disturbing sound signals that restrict our anti-heroes and above all ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) in their skills. Songbird could do something like that in such a way with her voice. The consequences are probably much more devastating.
It remains to be seen whether Mel may soon come out as a songbird. The Thunderbolts or should we rather say New Avengers
have already been confirmed for Doomsday. Maybe Mel will appear again.
