Marvel finally reveals the cast of Fantastic 4 and it promises to be crazy. The House of Ideas has pulled out all the stops to save its MCU, but will it be enough?
Marvel is trying to save the ship from sinking, and it’s not easy. While its MCU is handled very poorly and the failures follow each other at a somewhat too rapid pace, the House of Ideas also has a lot of internal problems. Postponements, cancellations, changes in direction or line-up… it’s not wonderful. But there is still a little (a lot) of light at the end of the tunnel. No, this is clearly not the end and it could even start again soon.
Marvel relies on crazy casting for Fantastic 4!
Superheroes are very popular, even if the latest productions tend to tell us the opposite. Out of Black Panther 2it’s a sort of gentle descent into hell on the MCU side as far as Sony’s films are concerned (Morbius and companies), it’s getting worse and worse. The newest, Madam Web (which has nothing to do with the MCU) is a dismal failure.
Regardless, the market remains, frankly, juicy and we want to continue the MCU on the side of Marvel and Disney. The big upcoming films also include Deadpool 3 what should (we hope) tear everything apart this summer is there Fantastic Four. A quartet well known to comic book fans and one that is of utmost importance in the Marvel Universe.
After months of rumors, Marvel FINALLY announces its cast and gets five stars.
As Elastic Man and head of the group we find a certain Pedro Pascal. An extremely bankable actor and already headlining major successful series like Mandalorian or The last of us recently. He will be accompanied by Vanessa Kirby, who will play the invisible woman. Actress who has already appeared in very large productions, especially in Napoleon recently. To complete the quartet, Marvel finally relies on Joseph Quinn, the huge Eddie Munson Stranger Things Season 4. The actor will take on the role of the Human Torch here, while The Thing will be played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who was recently seen in the series Bear or in the comedy And the challenge alongside Jennifer Lawrence.
So it’s very, very hard to save Marvel and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it does. The film is expected to go into production soon and is expected to hit theaters on July 25, 2025 if all goes well. But hey, lately Marvel’s release dates… it’s not really like that.
