Marvel Rivals: Fantastic Four confirmed for Season 1

After several leaks about upcoming content, the Fantastic Four have now been confirmed for Season 1 of the hero shooter.

The first family of Marvel will soon be making the leap into Marvel Rivals, because after many rumors in advance, NetEase has now officially confirmed that the Fantastic Four will be expanding the roster of the hero shooter in the future. These are due to come into the game as part of the first season and will be presented in full next week; A reveal is therefore planned for January 6, 2025.

The advance announcement via social media was garnished with artwork showing the group of characters together. Further information and an official trailer will follow on January 6th at 5:00 p.m. German time.

Previously, leaks had suggested that the four characters would be part of the roster line-up for Season 1 of the game; These have proven to be correct in this respect. The start of the first season is planned for later in January.

It is unlikely that all four heroes of the Fantastic Four will appear in the game at the same time. Instead, NetEase is likely to make these accessible gradually over the course of the season. With the exception of Mr. Fantastic, it is already quite clear which classes they will belong to: The Human Torch will be a duelist and will focus on dealing damage with his skills. The Thing will almost certainly be a Vanguard aka Tank character and Sue Storm aka The Invisible Womand will most likely be a Strategist, i.e. support character.
