Mark Ruffalo has portrayed the Incredible Hulk since the first Avengers film in 2012, after Edward Norton starred in front of the camera in the green powerhouse’s first solo adventure in 2008. Ruffalo is also well-known to Marvel fans for another thing: Spoiler!

Kevin Feige rejects Hulk’s solo project
At the festival, Ruffalo is asked whether he has much influence on the scripts in which Hulk plays a role. According to the actor, MCU mastermind Kevin Feige even asked him personally what he had in mind for his character next.
On this train, Ruffalo leaves them fateful remark fallen:
Kevin asks me: What would you like? [mit Hulk] make? If you had a standalone Hulk movie, what would you do with him? And I tell him that I would like to take Hulk from this raving maniac to kind of an integrated character.
And he said, okay, we’ll do this over the course of four films. We’re never going to give you a standalone Hulk, let’s get that out of the way. I don’t want to burst your bubble, but that’s just not going to happen.

As far as I know. I mean, I can share more about it, but I was told not to.
Insiders contradict Ruffalo’s statements
If the Hulk actor himself says that another Hulk solo movie won’t happen, that would normally be a legitimate reason to bury any hope. But it’s not quite that simple in this matter.
Because it is not clear when Kevin Feige made these statements to him. That was probably before 2023, because that’s when the noise is loud Screenrant as well as Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus The rights for Hulk were transferred back from Universal to Marvel and Disney.

The 2008 Hulk film was still a co-production between Marvel and Universal. It’s quite possible that Marvel Studios no longer wanted to share the financial cake and therefore actually ruled out another solo Hulk before 2023 – which could have changed in the meantime thanks to the new rights situation.
On the other hand, in the recent past several insiders who are considered well-informed have discovered the existence of a planned one World War Hulk
And there is even a third possible explanation: Mark Ruffalo might also have been cold-bloodedly lyingto make Marvel’s PR department happy and surprise fans later.
When will we see Hulk again in the MCU?
Despite Mark Ruffalo’s statements, another solo film for Hulk cannot currently be completely ruled out. It’s also not yet confirmed when exactly we’ll next see Hulk in the MCU.
A role in Captain America 4: Brave New World is considered loud Variety as now excluded. According to the leading actress, a second season of She-Hulk is still in the stars. And there is no reliable information about the cast of Avengers: Kang Dynasty anyway – only rumors about the new Kang actor.
Conclusion: Either Mark Ruffalo is telling the truth or he has gone from spoiler king to lying baron. Or maybe he’s not entirely sure what Marvel plans to do next with his green alter ego.
