Game news Marvel: The Next Blade Movie offers the star actress of X
Blade, the darkest character in the Marvel Universe, is getting a brand new movie. To mark the occasion, the MCU has teamed up with Mahershala Ali and the star actress from X!

In 1998, Gene Colan’s Marvel character, Blade, got his first movie rights! And if for many this production signed by Guillermo del Toro is Nanar, others see it as a small revolution in the history of cinema. It’s simple, it belongs with Matrix to those films that popularized the term Bullet Time, a slowed down effect obtained thanks to a series of cameras placed along or around the plot. Unfortunately, Blade’s sequels were much less inspired, causing the saga to fade.
But that was without expecting the arrival of the MCU, which is once again looking for famous superheroes to replace the disappearance of several emblematic characters, starting with Iron Man or even Captain America. In other words, a new Blade movie is in the drawers, and when the latter experiences several misadventures, we learn that the cast keeps growing anyway!
The X Star in Blade 2024!
We recently learned that Bassam Tariq has left his director’s chair, and if today we still don’t know the name of the person who will be behind the camera, you know we still know more about the casting. As already announced, it actually works Mahershala Ali
Also note that a rising star will also join the cast! It’s obviously about Mia Goth, the star of X, a much talked about horror film directed by Ti West. We could also see her in some great classics like the remake of Suspiria or Gore Verbinski’s A Cure for Life. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know what character she’ll be playing in Blade, but we can’t wait to find out more.
As a reminder, if Blade’s development is complicated, note that the schedule hasn’t changed yet. In other words, filming is slated to begin later this summer, and better said, the feature film still has an exact start date: it’s expected for September 4, 2024.
