On November 4, 2021, “Eternals” possibly the biggest MCU-Film since “Avengers: Endgame” and the fight against Thanos start in German cinemas. A new superhero team consisting of (among others) Angelina Jolie and the “Game of Thrones“-Stars Kit Harington and Richard Madden is introduced.

1: Lauren Ridloff plays Marvel’s first deaf heroine
Some readers will be “Eternals” star Lauren Ridloff from the epic zombie series “The Walking Dead“where she has played the deaf character Connie since the 5th episode of season 9.
Actress Lauren Ridloff is also deaf in real life and by the way is a really established and successful Hollywood actress, who most recently appeared in the Oscar-winning “Sound of Metal”. In “Eternals” she becomes the 1st deaf Marvel heroine Makkari.

2: Avengers antagonist Thanos is an Eternal
Thanos made in “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Endgame“Life is really difficult for the Avengers. Little did they suspect that Thanos is also an Eternal. However, he also carries a little bit of the Deviants, the eternal adversaries of the Eternals.

3: Die Celestials

4: The plot of “Eternals” will span millennia!
The Eternals do not age and are immortal. The blue city walls of old Babylon were already visible in the trailer. “Eternals” will take MCU viewers on a journey through human history and into bygone ages!
5: Male characters become female
Marvel Studios changed the genders of 3 Eternals: In the comic template Sprite, Ajak and Makkari are male, but in the MCU blockbuster they are embodied by Lia McHugh, Salma Hayek and the aforementioned Lauren Ridloff.
6: “Eternals” will show the first kiss of two male characters in the MCU
With “Eternals” Marvel becomes really progressive: Eternal Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) is married to a man and has a family. Actor Haaz Sleiman plays his unnamed onscreen partner, an architect.
And as the actor already revealed in advance, there will be the first onscreen kiss between two men in the MCU between the two spouses.
