Do you play Shepard as Paragon or Renegade?
Statistically, the answer might be Paragon.
According to former BioWare film designer John Ebenger, about 92% of Mass Effect players play games as good people.
"Yes. About 92% of Mass Effect players are Paragon. Ebenger wrote in a tweet that we also put a lot of work into Renegade content:
Correct. About 92% of Mass Effect players are Paragon.
And we also invested a lot of work in Renegade content 🙁https: //t.co/lywwx7n4Hy-John Ebenger (@EbengerJohn) February 19, 2020
Paragon and Renegade are two aspects of the ethical system of the Mass Effect trilogy. Players can choose different actions or dialogues to increase the score of both characters. Exemplary points can be earned through heroic or compassionate behavior. In contrast, treason points will be obtained through selfish behavior.
BioWare will test the system throughout the trilogy. In the original Mass Effect, ethics was based on total scores, while in Mass Effect 2, ethics was based on percentages. Mass Effect 3 has undergone a major change with the introduction of a unique reputation instrument, which both Paragon and Renegade points contribute to.
A Twitter user wrote to Ebenger, describing his ethics system and its tendency to inspire one path to another.
Ebenger responded: "Yes, that's why ME3 changed it.
There should not be a system that motivates the death of one person or another

The latest work in the series, Mass Effect: Andromeda, has completely abandoned the moral system.
