The online trade lives from discounts. In addition to the big events such as the Black Friday, Cyber Monday or the singles' Day, many retailers also organize their own campaigns. One of the best known of them is the VAT at MediaMarktsaturn. In the MediaMarktsatur's VAT campaign, the retailer gives you VAT for selected products and brands.
This means that you only have to pay the net price. Due to the calculation method of VAT, the real discount is not 19 percent – the amount of VAT – but exactly 15.966 percent. In the past, many popular brands were often excluded from the campaign, including Apple, Samsung, Microsoft and the entire camera department.
Next campaign probably for the Superbowl in February
As a rule, MediaMarktsaturn organizes VAT three times a year. You will usually take place around Super Bowl in February, in June and the end of the year in October and go about four to five days.
