In the coming year, Metal: Hellsinger, a rather unusual rhythm shooter, should cause a sensation. A list of the musicians involved has now been made public in advance.
The rhythm shooter Metal: Hellsinger was one of many titles at the Game Awards. The good piece was presented by heavy metal star Heafy by the band Trivium, who were given the honor of confirming other represented metal musicians for the title.
He himself said about his involvement in the game: “I’m really happy to be part of the rhythm shooter Metal: Hellsinger. Be sure to check it out. We have incredible screamer / singers, like Alissa (White-Gluz) from Arch Enemy and Randy (Blythe) from Lamb of God. “
The complete line-up of the represented musicians reads as follows:
- Randy Blythe von Lamb of God
- James Dorton von Black Crown Initiate
- Matt Heafy from Trivium
- Dennis Lyxzén from Refused and INVSN
- Tatiana Shmailyuk from Jinjer
- Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquility
- Björn Strid von Soilwork
- Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy
All singers have recorded tracks written by the Swedish composer duo Elvira Björkman and Nicklas Hjertberg. For example, the song “Acheron” was presented at the Game Awards and is also included in the new trailer below. The song is performed by metal icon Randy Blythe, lead singer of the band Lamb of God.
Like every track in Metal: Hellsinger, Acheron is divided into different layers. The better you knock down opponents to the rhythm, the more layers of the song are played at the same time.
The release is planned for 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
