Metroid Prime 4: Beyond: Big appearance on the Direct for Switch 2?

appearance, Big, Direct, Metroid, Prime, Switch

The big direct around the Switch 2 could apparently bring tangible new impressions to Metroid Prime 4.

For a long time it has been quiet about the great hope for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, but that could change soon. The signs are presumably condensed that Nintendo could create a larger appearance of the continuation of the HIT series at the Direct Conference on Switch 2.

A new rumor is currently circulating that a appearance of the game at the Direct Conference could be planned. At least that's what the game industrial insider Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly is now reporting. Accordingly Bluesky.

In less than a month in the Switch 2 direct you’ll see that Nintendo & Retro were keeping their cards close to their chest with Metroid Prime 4 for this exact moment. The true unveiling will blow everything else in the direct out of the water.

Reilly also took up the topic with the competing social media platform X (formerly Twitter). There he emphasizes that he is “90 percent safe” that Metroid Prime is presented as part of the Switch-2 Direct. It only makes an arch by an even higher percentage, because Nintendo is known to vary content from direct conferences and to delete it on the very last handle.

Metroid fans had to be quite patient in terms of continuation of the series of success. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was published for the Wii in 2007, so the fourth part has been long in coming. This was announced in 2017, but the development had to be restarted in the meantime, also because the initially responsible retro studios were removed the project again and it bequeathed it to the creators of the first three prime parts.
