Since September, the number of users has doubled.
Recently launched Microsoft Flight Simulator Already has more than 2 million players.
According to Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann (Jorg Neumann), he flew this milestone on Xbox Wire faster than any other entry in the series so far. If this is not enough, Microsoft Flight Simulator will launch the largest PC game ever in Xbox Game Pass.
“As we have said time and time again, the 2020 launch is just the beginning of our journey with Microsoft Flight Simulator,” Neumann wrote.
“We are happy to bring this momentum into 2021-we will launch on Xbox Series X|S in the summer, we plan to make three major updates to the simulation, and will update the world four to five times with other world updates. (And some other surprises we planned).”
Microsoft Flight Simulator was launched in August this year. In our review, we said that it is “very suitable for experienced pilots and beginners alike.” By early September, the game had attracted more than one million players.
In the Game Awards last week, Microsoft revealed that the game will be released on Xbox Series X/S in the summer of 2021.
Data company Jon Peddie Research stated before the release that Microsoft Flight Simulator will result in a $2.6 billion spent on PC hardware and various peripherals. Interestingly, this is based on the prediction that 2.27 million games will be sold within three years after launch. It is safe to say that Microsoft Flight Simulator is likely to achieve this sales milestone in a short period of time.
