One thing has to be left to Asobo: they are working hard to make the Microsoft Flight Simulator even better and more beautiful. Next, a performance patch should make the game faster.
We all know that the Microsoft Flight Simulator is an eye-catcher. We also know that it needs hefty hardware. The PC version of the game should now benefit from the fact that the hotly anticipated version for Xbox Series X / S will finally appear soon.
Parallel to its launch on July 27th, the PC version is to receive huge performance improvements. During one Livestreams Asobo boss Sebastian Wloch explained that extensive parts of the game’s engine were completely rewritten in order to achieve the best possible performance for the console version. PC owners can now also benefit from this.
Using examples, Wloch demonstrated that, above all, the CPU load could be reduced, but the RAM usage was also massively reduced. Apart from the improved performance, PC gamers will also enjoy some additions such as new and improved tutorials, more options for discovery flights and a number of new flight assistants. Update 5 will be released parallel to the Xbox version on July 27th.
