According to an insider, Microsoft is apparently serious when it comes to steam integration.
This year, a leak revealed that Microsoft wanted to further anchor and support the popular Steam platform in its own ecosystems. In this regard, according to a renowned insider, one now seems to be one step further.
In this case, this means the often very well-informed gaming insider ExtAS1S, which in a new video on YouTube deals with just that steam integration-in this case in the Microsoft Store.
“Microsoft has just officially added the Steam application to support software on its own devices,” claims the insider. The corresponding app can therefore be found under the name “Steam Developer Beta” on selected devices; So far, however, the selection has been limited to “certain employees”, including those that develop different things for Microsoft.
Behind the scenes is continued at the feature of the Steam integration on Microsoft devices. Such an integration should also enable more direct play access from the Microsoft Store via Steam-also on the planned Next-Gen-Xbox. According to Extas1S, this should apparently go towards the PC environment and enable more seamless experience between the PC, handheld and console.
