The streaming giant therefore continues its collaboration with Studio Ghibli, having added all of the studio’s films to its catalog. This publication also concerns France, but it is strange to be informed about it now when the platform is subject to the media chronology.

In theory, under the new schedule in force in France, Netflix will be able to offer films 15 months after their theatrical release, compared to 36 months previously. A significant change that will be further modified in 2025, when this new schedule will have to apply for three years. However, these changes will not occur before Netflix can offer The Boy and the Heron in France, probably on February 1, 2025. It is sure that the platform will release news about the film soon.
